“Excelent food... highest proffessionality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

I visited the hotel today with my family to have lunch and enjoy the peacefull nature environment of this charming hotel , including my mother in law... excellent cook and sharp critic.
As always we were immediately attended by top quality professionals who give the hotel one of the best services you can find in our pyrenees... many years of dedication are payig off.
Food was excelent and we were surprised by the introduction of a brand new menu where you can find the most delicate regional dishes.
Many thanks to all you guys and keep up the good work...excelence should be your rate.

Spent one week at the Hotel Ordesa on a Hike Pyrenees walking holiday. In particular, the restaurant staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with a good bathroom en-suite.

Be aware, and this is NOT a criticism, that although the hotel provided a daily menu in English, it needed a certain degree of further translation and interpretation! We certainly had one or two surprises!

Recommended.

We spent 6 nights at Hotel Ordesa in July-August 2012. It was a perfect base for walking in the area. The room on 3rd floor was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was good value. We also had dinners in hotel, that had not been our plan, but the choice, quality and price were very good, so it was not necessary to go to Torla. Staff were friendly and helpful (especially in the restaurant).

We asked for a room with a patio. The surrounding is beautiful and the hotel does not spoil the surrounding beauty. There is the noise of running water all the time and very peaceful. Hotel staff were friendly. We did not rent a car and depended on bus and taxi. Would have been better if we had rented a car.

Room Tip: Nice place to stay when you spend the whole day hiking.

The hotel is a good 2* hotel and far from being a 4* Somebody has got to do something about the self-overating of hotels.
Reception did not know how to operate the Internet and thus we could not use it
Shower was running water all over. However the food was good and the location is superb

Room Tip: Always look for the pic of the bathroom!

Stayed in the hotel for a week in early June. The views are great and very near to Ordesa National park. The breakfast and dinner are good but there are good restaurants in Torla as well (e.g. El Duende). The outdoor pool is good but freezing cold (in June). Good for muscle aches after a long walk though if you are brave enough. Above all the people, from the owner to the cleaners and barman, are unbelievably friendly, helpful and accommodating. Easily the best staff I have met in a hotel.
Also can highly recommend Guias de Torla in the town if booking an activity holiday.

Room Tip: Great views are on offer on the Ordesa National park side (pool side) rooms.

I spent 3 days doing gentle day walks in the Ordesa national park. This hotel was perfectly situated. With walks leaving straight from the hotel, no need to take the bus provided or your car to access the main car park before walking.

The food was excellent and we ate in the restaurant in the evening each night, we had planned to go into Torla, but the food was such good quality and such a great price that we saw no reason to get in the car.

The breakfasts were equally good. The Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms v clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning.

Would also recommend the company 'Hiking in the Pyrenees' for their self guided walks.

The outside pool was a good size, beautifully kept and very welcoming after a days walking!
