We were a group of 25 walkers that were based in Ainsa and made this walk on our second day. As has been stated in other reviews the scenery in the Canon de Ordesa and the Cola de Caballo is absolutely spectacular with many water falls and cascades and rock formations. What was interesting for us was we reached the falls at the end of the trail and also nearly to the snow line, it had rained the previous night and at this altitude it was snow! It took as about 3 hours to get to the falls and there we had an impromptu Pick-nick with sunshine on one side and snow covered peaks on the other, fantastic.

If you have time while traveling, definitely take the trip to Torla and hike the mountains. It was a a great break from the cities.

The scenery in the Cañon de Ordesa and at the Cola de Caballo falls at the end of the canyon are spectacular and worth the 3-hour hike (more or less) one way. For most of the way the trail is very wide and easy to walk; the is a short part a bit more steep but it is very easy to manage. A fairly easy trail overall, including for those who are afraid of heights.

The national park staff at the visitor centre in Torla spoke some English and were very helpful. I did the main walk through the valley past the many cascades all the way to the end. It took me 2.5 hours to get all the way to the end (the suggested time is 3 hours). It depends on how often you stop to take photos and have breaks along the way. I walked back the same way which took me 2.5 hours. My friend also did 2 of the higher walks "Faja de Pelay" and "Faja de las Flores" but you have to like long steep climbs and have a head for heights as they are both along cliff top edges. We spent 3 night in Torla which is a great town close to the park.
