The views, maintained trails and signage make this one of the best cross country ski trips I've ever been on. One big suggestion. The trails should be marked throughout the path every quarter mile, at least. So, you know you didn't wander off onto another one.

A very nice national park with a lot of pretty hiking trails. The park is very gorgeous especially in fall. Expect a lot of people. The scenery is outstanding. The park is great.

After around a 30 minute drive from Tremblant we arrived at the entrance to the park, after paying the entry fee, we drove on until we came to the discovery centre, the centre itself is located in a modern building which is warm and welcoming on what was a cold day.
After getting information from a very helpful gentleman, we set off on a steady 13k moderate walk, which would take us around the lake returning to where we started, it fair to say the lake was not visible on any of the track we followed until we got back within seeing distance of where we started, never the less we enjoyed a good walk through some very beautiful scenery,
and as promised it was moderate, and a good test of our ageing bodies lol!
The park I am sure as a lot more to offer than we were able to see in a short few hours, but it would take years.

Took the Roche Trail from the Discovery Centre. This is a one hour upward hike of over 200m on a good path. At the top is a lookout with spectacular views that made the effort worthwhile.

Very beautiful place. Walked all the way up and saw three deers on our way. The view on the top is stunning especially if you were lucky and could watch a sunset here. Parking on the weekdays was free and 15$ a day on the weekend. Took 3 descends on a luge that was just enough and had a lot of fun. Besides we took a boat trip on the lake that was amazing. Very beautiful.
