Spent a weekend here with family. Got the family room which is actually two interconnected rooms which served us perfectly.Facing the road meant a bot of traffic noise at night which was not all together too bad. Clean and prompt service from the personnel. The hotel mainly acts as stop over place for tourists and for persons on this road. Two aspects which may need attention;
a)The restaurant is ok, a bit packed but serves the purpose with a fair variety of offerings for buffets.It opens up to an internal courtyard which seems to be the backyard of some space hence not very welcoming and yet there seems to be opportunity to open it to the general outdoors for a more pleasant view and airiness. We also thought roast meat would be easily available here noting it to be a local delicacy but alas!
b) We were particularly keen to have a swim only to realize that the pool was dirty. The attendant insisted that it was under treatment and would be ready in 30 minutes but the receptionist confirmed that it hadn't been cleaned in over a week due to unavailability of chemicals! A later check revealed no change and the attendant now insisted it was ok!!!!!!! A pristine pool would be a prime asset here noting the high temperatures.
Otherwise, a good stay worth spending over.
