The hotel itself is lovely, clean rooms and comfy beds, im not sure if we were unlucky and im aware we stayed on a bank holiday weekend so it was busy but i still dont think you should be able hear every move the people above you make.We stayed in a room (room 6) on the ground floor and every step the people above us took we heard, the ceiling creaked non stop when they were moving around, and every draw and cupboard they opened squeaked so loud it sounded like they were in the same room, we went sleep fairly early due to an early start and the people above us must of gone out because it was quiet when we feel asleep then we were woke up at 11pm by them coming back, we heard the door click, you could tell they were being gentle as it didnt bang but the click was loud enough wake us up then we had to endure an hour of creaky footsteps all above us as they got ready for bed, once that stopped we drifted off only to be woken by someone banging loudly on the door opposite us in the corridor, shouting obsentities to the poor person in that room, this happened on and off for another hour....finally went back to sleep only for the people above us waking up at 6:45 and getting ready, another hour and a half of non stop creaking footsteps....at this point id had enough and gave up on the lye in i was looking forward too. I have stayed in two other premier inns and not had this problem and like i say the room was lovely as was the customer service checking in and out etc it was a lovely comfy bed too which just added to my annoyance at not being able to sleep soundly in it, i didnt mention the problem when we left due to feeling too tired and fed up. I dont know what to suggest to prevent it but it could really do with sorting as it really spoiled our experience.

Hotel with a nice attached food option. Very handy for all of the Wirral's surprisingly many & varied attractions.
The staff were friendly & helpful & the room comfortable, clean & well appointed.

The hotel entrance is tucked round the back of the Brewers Faye pub. Use the rear car-park to be near the hotel entrance.

We went to a wedding so wanted comfort but reasonable and we got it, Anne the receptionist was fantastic considering that we booked six rooms then added breakfast brilliant with the kids, only downfall was the heating. But overall was a excellent experience would definatly go back again.

We were looking for somewhere near Ellesmere Port and it was quite a good location. The pub next door (Brewers Fayre) really didn't appeal, but we ate at the Cricketers up the road which was great.
The main problem we had was the heating. They very kindly pre-heated the room, but it was still cold and we could not get the thermostat any higher. It said 23 but it clearly wasn't. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and they lent us a heater, but it was still cold.
The coldness of it, also I think made my wife say she thought there was a bit of a musty smell.
This was excellent value for money,a nd you know what you are getting, but it wasn't the best, but mainly because of the heating.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a couple of nights due to the excellent room and meal deal, along with good experiences in previous Premier Inns, The whole experience was brilliant, the reception staff are superb, i have never met more friendly people and they really did do everything possible to make sure your stay was first class. Little things like saying hello in the mornings, checking our breakfast was ok when we returned to the hotel afterwards and the same with dinner. Showing real care for their customers and really making us feel valued. The rooms are nice and clean, absolutely no noise whatsoever inside and outside the hotel, with plenty of car parking and a really lovely Brewers Fayre pub next door. Perfect
