“Great noodles”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Great little place. It's not a fancy restaurant by any means. We were in wetsuits but they have outside tables to sit at, so it's a great spot for refuelling before or after diving at the Sunabe Sea Wall - it's about 50 feet from the sea.

The menu is not very extensive - a few variations on Okinawan noodles with different combinations of protein etc - but with this quality, you won't need more than a couple of options. English menu is provided.

“Excellent Soba noodle”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

This soba place is by far the most delicious one that I have ever tried so far and I have lived here for more than 2 years now. I love Hamaya Soba, their signature dish, 550 yen. Ask for more meat for additional 100 yen. This place is very crowded during lunch hour, so go early. There are only 2 parking spaces, so you have to park on the street, but beware of cops because those are illegal parking.

“try once and you gonna love it”
Reviewed March 29, 2010

Okinawan Soba has so many different taste depends on the restaurant. each restaurant has original stock with secret recipe. This shop's stock is simple. Someone said too simple and no taste at all but many love it.
The shop has English menu and very friendly with foreigners because American base is everywhere in this island and many people from base visit this shop very frequently.
You can add red ginger and Koregusu (spicy chilli papper soaks in okinawan sake). Menu is not big chice but each noodle has fabulous. I love Yushi-dofu soba (Okinawan soba with soft soy tofu). This tofu is so soft and melting in my mouth. It is sold out sometimes in early afternoon.
they sell Okinawan cookies (Chinsuko) with sea-salt, it is just 150 yen and much yummy than something similar in shops.
Divires or someone with swim wear who is wet, they can seat outside table.
