We stayed again at L'Armateur before we were able to collect the keys for our new house near Moissac. We were very tired & somewhat fraught & had our black Labrador with us. A big black hairy dog in this beautiful hotel was a worry for us but the proprietor was so kind to continually tell us not to worry. We also had to stay an extra night as our furniture was delayed & we were welcomed back. We did our best with the dog hairs without a vacuum cleaner.
Thank you so much for having us. Would advise anyone to stay here it is so calm & beautiful.

Room Tip: It is well worth the extra to stay on the garden side of the hotel.

We stayed three nights at this hotel and found it to be a mixture of good and ordinary. On the good side, the hotel was very clean, well located for exploring the area and the bed was extremely comfortable. On the negative side the only seating, apart from one armchair, was a hard wooden stool which was unsuitable as a desk chair. Some of the amenities were not replenished and the lights on the stairs and outside the rooms were not on sensors. This meant that one had to grope in the dark to find the switches, which was a safety hazard. We felt that the rate if 130 euros per night was excessive, given the overall standard and comparing it to other hotels on our trip.

We stayed at this hotel on Sunday 27th April 2013. We had a large, well apponted room which was very comfortable. The hotel was immaculately kept and our dog was made very welcome. We had an excellent and the service was impeccable. The hotel had a secure car park and a nice little pool although the weather was not good enough for swimming! Moissac itself is a fascinating town ,it has a beautiful Abbey and famous cloisters. It is also very attractive with good shops and a river and canal to amble along. The most impressive thing about this hotel were the owners who were both absolutely charming: I inadvertantly went off with the key (which I have returned ) and they forgave me inspite of the inconvenience to them. Wewill definitely return and would highly reccommend this hotel

The hotel is situated in a lovely 18th century building reconverted into a stylish modern hotel with a garden and a small swimming pool. Spotless white is the dominant colour in the rooms and in the restaurant, with just a classy touch of red here and there. We had a spotless twin overlooking the garden, very quiet at night. Food in the restaurant is exquisite.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the garden have a lovely view and are very quiet.

The room was large & very comfortable as was the bed & bathroom.
We didn't think we would be able to eat in the beautiful restaurant as there were no vegetarian dishes on the menu but the owners arranged for a delicious meal. The wine (Gaillac) was also exceptional. Very friendly & helpful owners.
The hotel is well situated & beautifully renovated.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the garden are nice.
