Today i bring local guess from jakarta whit 3 adult and 1 baby (1year old) for wanna stay in Toya devasya, we arrived at toya when verry hard rain and no body in front office boy give umbrella (it's very bad gretting), and ask about villa (room) for stay and hot spring water pool.
cause this time rain i ask about resto, and some body bring me to resto crossover the rain, but until resto seat (gazebo) full it's very very bad when raining cause we are wet. and a man in resto service bring me to villa resto cross over the rain again.
in villa resto we order coffee and banana freid for waiting raining finish (this price very expensive).
after rain finish when we want back to ubud, the baby crying wanna swimming at hot spring pool, 15 minute after that we wanna back and than some body officer talk to me for surcharge 100 rupiah per person cause entry the pool. we complain cause only one adult accompany the baby swimming. and the security man his name marta jaya with coarse talk to we are, and i ask who the manager in duty?? not in here say they are (it's very stupid resort manager in duty not in place).

We went to Toya Devasya just to have lunch so this review is for the Restaurant only. Although the restaurant was fairly clean with some character, the food was overpriced and a let down,and when our food came we got attacked by flies making eating uncomfortable. I ordered the fish basket that states you get 2 fish, 2 very small fish with no more than a mouthful of meat on them, very dry and bland. My Girlfriend ordered spring rolls and the salad had dirt all over it. And our friend ordered a very average boring sandwich for 3x times the price as other restaraunts would charge. Will not return to this place.

I came there with my wife and our three children. The place looked nice and beautiful on the brochures and website. But once we are there ...it was a terrible place to visit.

Plenty of flies and my children can not eat as they feel dirty. I tried to complaint to the waiter but it seems they all busy with handling the owner and his family (later on I found out that the owner and his family were there........swimming and eating....!).

I have to stand up and come to the sunken bar for the waiter. With very little english He told me that the place always like that for many years and nothing he can do.
I want to talk with the man in charge and funny things there were two operation manager in this small property. I told the waiter to call both of them and wait for a while none of them come.

My wife went to the locker and it was very slippery inside and smell terrible. She almost fell down. The towels were smelly and in bad condition.

Anyway, this place is not worthy to be visited again unless they do something with the operation. Their uniform was terrible and several of the staff smell terrible (need shower !!!).

The entrance fee is not value for money. For this kind of service I think too expensive. The nasi goerng tasteless. Oh ya one more thing my children were not so happy to see severel roosters inside a small coop smell terrible..

I have a chance to talk with one of the staff who speak very little english. he showed me villas that just completed. They have 14 villas and two villas can be seen as models.
Actually nice but to many purple make the villa looks dark and makes you feel uncomfortable. Well this villa will be open soon according him

He told me also all the operation and set up on these two properties fully depend on the owner. Nobody can do anything unless the owner said so. Very sad to hear this and I can understand why this place running poorly. Very sad !
