I knew Lesley from Coruisk House on Skye and her new venture at Farr is every bit as good. The breakfast is great whatever you have and if you stay in for dinner you won't be going to bed hungry, great meals for two weeks and a comfy bed to lay your head.
I'm going back shortly and looking forward to it already. A wee gem in the Highlands of Scotland.

Scottishlandscapes.

Room Tip: I prefer the double room with en suite.

Stayed here last night for just one night. A wonderful warm welcome from Lesley and cup of tea on arrival. Very comfortable, clean and tasteful room. Lesley cooked us an excellent evening meal and the view from the dining room window was captivating. Would definitely stay again.

You would pass by Farr Cottage and perhaps not notice that it was there. You would certainly not guess that such a small house would provide such excellent hospitality.

But - TA will point you in the right direction. Lesley has only two rooms to let, and the house is small and secluded. Booking is advisable. If she offers you an evening meal (and she may not) then say 'Yes please' and enjoy it.

All is of the highest quality in a slightly quirky but entirely enjoyable way. Just go. Leave your preconceptions outside the front door and enjoy a slightly off-the-wall eccentric B & B experience which is definitely value for money.

The rooms are smart, clean and modern. Whatever you want in order to make yourself comfortable is provided on request. Lesley will welcome you and somehow she makes you feel entirely at the heart of her home and really comfortable.

How is this done? Not entirely sure, but it is at once satisfactory and satisfying.

Deffo staying here again.
Everything you need for a top weekend -or week- away.
The food is always great, the location wonderful and the fun atmosphere adds lots to the whole experience.
Give it a try!

Room Tip: Either room just fine!

From the delightful food to the banter, from the location to the scenery, from the happy owner to the welcome, it is all A1.
780 miles each way, but i am booking again, for sure.
No real advice, just book, turn up and enjoy your holiday in every way.

Room Tip: Either room, i like both.
