Very nice staff. They made the elderly lady I took with me very welcome and took time to chat to her. She really enjoyed her visit there and reminiscing. Food simple but fitting with the times. Beans on Toast, Dripping and toast, Jam, Crumpets, Tea Cakes. Lots of lovely homemade cakes to try too. Tea pots with quaint cosies. Nice back ground music to fit the era such as Glen Miller. Fair prices. Lovely inside to see all the memorabilia. A table top made from a jeep and a piano with family war time photos. I got a lot out of taking the person I took there and just relaxing and not being rushed. This place is attached to a very large army surplus store which we took a stroll around too.
