I love Lutterworth - just had to let you know that, a great town, close to the M1 and work.

A great find is the Greyhound coaching inn. Fab location, car parking easy to find.

Great service from start to finish - a warm welcome is awaiting you.

I made use of the gym membership card - a 5 min walk and you have the full selection of fitness at Lutterworth Leisure centre as part of your hotel deal - a geat idea.

Drinks - a great selection and not on rip off prices. My colleague Lynda was on the wine until late (and i mean a lot - she likes a few bottles of white). The staff were very kind to her!

Food - a great menu, regulaly changed, food quality for dinner and breakfast - excellent.

Room - beautuful - everything cosnidered - great size, nice bathroom, toiletries and free wi fi.

Will i be back - yup.

A family run hotel in a beautiful historic building with very attentive staff. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times in the past few years and would certainly stay again. I'm particularly keen on the four poster room. The bar is very good, with a selection of real ales and an interesting wine list.

I have stayed at The Greyhound many times and am always impressed by the staff's eagerness to ensure that my stay is comfortable; Roz and Robbie were particularly attentive and professional. My room was large and beautiful with an imposing 4-poster bed that was very impressive. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and a wide range of toiletries. The breakfast is particularly good with a variety of hot and cold options as well as a delicious full English (my choice). My favourite part of the hotel is the beautiful courtyard. Even on rainy days it is stunning. Thank you to Robert and his staff for another very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Room Tip: Room 22 has the 4-poster and separate entrance.

A lovely, characterful, family run hotel. The room was small but adequate and with all the necessary amenities- a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits, wifi etc. The shower didn't look too promising (although clean) but was fast and hot. It came with quality bath and shower gel, shampoo etc and the hand cream was a nice touch. The linen on the bed was at a guess, 600 thread Egyptian cotton- always lovely to sleep on. Breakfast choices were good and included fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals etc but I chose the 'full English' which was perfectly cooked, well presented and the sausage and bacon particularly nice. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

We stopped off at The Greyhound for one night en route from Devon to Pontefract in February. We chose the Inn because it was dog-friendly and welcoming of our elderly collie Soxx, in a town that we knew and somewhere with good food to host a large group of friends. From the moment we booked we had efficient, friendly and helpful service. The room was wonderful, the bed superbly confortable and the meal for 18 tiptop. As it was Friday grill night, everything was cooked to order. I don't know how chef did it and remain unruffled! He even popped out to make sure we were all happy. All the staff were wonderful and displayed a masterclass in organising 18 of us, intent on doing as much talking and celebrating as possible. Our thanks to all. We hope to be back for longer next time! Dawn, Ronnie and Soxx

The Greyhound is a wonderful place full of charm and character. Great food, friendly service and good VFM. Makes a welcome change from corporate hotels - wish I worked in this area more! Thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are small as this is a building from the 1700s! Check if you need more space.
