“Relaxing the days away”

A great place to relax and swim in lovely warm pools, even outdoors the water is so warm, it's like being in a bath.
The special pools with the thermal waters are supposed to be good for you but I just loved being able to relax all day and read, taking a dip whenever I felt like it.
There are various jacuzzis in the pools and TV is on sometimes but it is always in Slovenian, which is a disadvantage if you don't speak the lingo! But ski-jumping and ski-ing is on often, so that was fine. There are snacks bars around and we had great service from Peter, he was brilliant.
We were here in December but I bet it's a great place to come in summer as well as there are lots of outdoor pools and waterslides.

Terme 3000 are just average, only the black water is something special, something else is not worth mentioning. Terme 3000 is better suited for families with children than couples.

We enjoyed a week staying in Terme 3000 in August in one of the chalets on site with our 2 children aged 12 and 9. These were very small (you won't want to be in them for too long) but clean and adequate. We bought a weeks pass for the spa there and it was well worth it - there are so many pools and slides and plenty of sun loungers/ areas to sit. I think we were the only English people there ! It was mainly Germans and Slovenians. In this area of Slovenia I found very little English was spoken so go equipped to speak either German or Slovenian as otherwise it can be difficult to be understood! Staff on site however did speak English. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance of the chalets where children are welcome. We went searching for restaurants recommended in the area but found that some of these were shut so ended up back at Terme 3000! I thought Slovenia may be quite cheap bit found everthing more or less the same price as England. Driving through the countryside we frequently saw storks nests which made a good photo opportunity. There is cycle hire on Terme 3000 which we used and lots of cycle routes. We spent our first week in Croatia (near Porec) and found that this area had lots more to do than Moravske Toplice as well as much better weather though we did enjoy our week, particularly the thermal pools which were like a warm bath.

Very good amenities and choice of pools both inside and out and some of the best waterslides ever seen. Predominantly visited by elderly Slovenians and Austrians but kids are not a problem. Food is not great - white wine good, red wine bad.
