We've been to Santorini with my wife for the Greek Easter. We were looking for an inexpensive hotel as we were on a tight budget. We stayed at Emporio Hotel for 2 nights and we were very satisfied (I think that previously it was called Hotel Archaia Elefsina). Rooms were very clean and well equiped though furniture was a bit dated, sheets and towels seemed brand new and it was evident that the hotel has been recently renovated. We had a room with a view at the new part of the village but we could see the sea as well!
Location is excellent and strategic if you prefer to stay inland and discover the island. There was a relativelly busy street near the hotel but we didn't mind. The hotel does not provide breakfast but the is a cafeteria and a bakery just around the corner. Emporio village is magnificent and a must see in Santorini. We paid around 40 euros per night which seems very good value for money considering that Santorini is very expensive, especially if you want a room with a view at the volcano.
