An historic and characterful cottage full of beams and stone flag floors. However, also equipped with all modern amenities to make for a perfect stay with a modern kitchen and secluded garden. The village is tranquil and a perfect base from which to explore the region. If you want history and culture then the area abounds in such, as well as famous gardens and beautiful old villages. We would certainly consider returning.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic village. We could not have felt more at home there. Loved the welcome basket and so clean and comfortable. Great location and transport links, train station and bus stop just around the corner. 10-15mins to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. Also a nice walk along the canal into Stratford. Takes about an hour.
Couldn't recommend enough, fab cottage in a great location and the owners are super friendly and helpful.

You know how sometimes the place you saw online only bears a vague resemblance to the property in real life? Yeah, this is not one of those times. Everything about this cottage from location to linens is perfect. A short walk to the train station, local store and pub. If you're up for a longer jaunt, Stratford Upon Avon is just an easy 3 miles down the canal or you can venture further afield with the Chiltern and Midland trains. The lovely owners are responsive and helpful if there's any question that isn't covered in their extensive visitor's guide that you'll find alongside a lovely welcome basket. The historic property has been meticulously renovated with all the mod cons, without losing any of its charm and character. Wish I could have stayed longer, can't wait to return.

Our week long stay at Harpe Cottage will go down as one of my favourites. The entire week was perfect.
The cottage itself is beautiful, we couldn't have asked for more. Very quaint and cosy. Thanks to Craig and Lee for the lovely welcome hamper.
The village is well serviced by train. We travelled from Dublin to Birmingham (there were two train transfers to get there but it wasn't too taxing) and then once based in Wilmcote, we could travel easily to Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon.
Wilmcote is the perfect picturesque English village. We shopped for local produce in the "Wilmcote Stores" just two minutes away on foot. We drank and ate in the local pubs. We did a lot of cross country walking and into the other little villages around the area. There's a beautiful canal-side walk into Stratford Upon Avon if you don't want to take the train.
We wanted a quiet, winter retreat and that's what we got. I would love to go back some day.

We stayed at Harpe Cottage recently and had a lovely time. The cottage is 5 mins drive from Stratford Upon Avon and has easy rail access there as well - the train station 5 mins walk from the cottage. Wilmcote is a lovely small village that is a nice, quiet option from staying in the more touristy Stratford Upon Avon. Locals were most helpful and friendly - especially at Wilmcote Stores. A lovely walk around town - 2 pubs and Mary Arden's house just within 5 mins walk. The cottage itself is just as advertised - cute and cosy and the owners were exceptionally helpful. The welcome basket was very much appreciated on a cold, dark night of arrival and the owners were able to be contacted if there were any problems (not that there were). We stayed over Christmas and the cottage was decorated for us and we felt like it was a home away from home. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a very relaxing break at Harpe Cottage. A beautiful restored cottage a credit to Lee and Craig who where very helpful with their knowledge of the area and their friendliness. The cottage is very well equipped and has a beautiful inglenook fireplace with log burner. Also we had a lovely basket on arrival of fresh bread, preserves, wine, cereals, newspaper and TV magazine and fresh milk in the fridge. We would recommend Harpe Cottage for an excellent place to relax and unwind. Thank you Lee and Craig.
