Villa Arianna B&B

Liliane & Maurizio,

Well what can i say...... As ever another wonderful trip to Italy, made always extra special by you two! As we are fortuante enough to take advantage of a house up the road from the B&B we have never had the pleasure of staying over at the B&B, however we regularly make the trip over the road to our favourite place to relax, eat and have wonderful company. This year we were treated to liliane's perfectly cooked meals with such attention to detail. Meats, pastas, deserts, aperitifs, digestifs, always executed to the highest standard! And this is not just for us of course, L&M make everyone feel special. The attention and care they provide for their guests allows for the most wonderful holiday experience! Set in idillic grounds, the B&B has a garden for dining, pool for swimming and even a table tennis table in summer for their boys to beat any man who take them on!
L&M have made so many occasions special for us such as my mother in laws birthday party (60th). Violoinsts playing for our after dinner treat followed by one of lili's homemade cakes and a celebration to always remember.
I cannot recomend villa arianna more highly for the food, the place, the service and the TLC. (and Maurizzio's sense of humour) We are returning soon to see you,

All Our thanks

Joe & Amy

We stayed just overnight but that wasn't really enough to appreciate Lilianne's fabulous cooking or Maurizio's story telling! You will need a car here as it's quite remote. This is a typical, rustic Tuscan old house so there's no aircon in the bedrooms and you won't find any minimal arty furniture! However you will be treated like family. I would definitely go back.

Staying just up the road from Villa Arianna, we decided to go for dinner there based on other recommendations. The owners Lillian and Maurizio made us feel very welcome indeed - starting with a nice aperitivo in the lovely gardens. Food was simple and rustic but tasty and accompanied by plenty of good local wine. It was the hospitality, however, that really shone through. All in all a wonderful setting and personal and friendly service made for a lovely evening.

We only had two nights in Villa Arianna ,and could have spent much more ,Lillanna and Maurizo are wonderfull hosts in a charming rustic setting , easy to get to and a great base for exploring Pisa, Lucca,Vinci,San Miniato, Florence and so many more, Lillianna is a cook to be worshiped, and Maurizo wine cellar is a tresure trove of Italys best . We can not recommend this B&B more. As it is one of Tuscany's little jems.

We have stayed at Villa Arianna in July for four days with my son 12 years old.. This is a really lovely place.. Very cosy and comfortable. The proprietaries Liliane and Maurizio are such nice persons that make you feel like to be at home.
The beautiful decorations around give the sensation of being in wonderland. In the same time the place is very silent and green. Beautiful swimming pool and excellent kitchen. The ideal place for couples, families with children and for everyone who is looking for complete relax. The children are having so much fun that don't want to leave.. The location is great to visit many historic places or to go for concert of Andrea Bocelli..
I would recommend it to stay for vacation or at least for a weekend time. We'll certainly return very soon.
Thank you Liliane and Maurizio for such amazing experience!!!

The Villa Arianna is located in Ripoli at Lari, in the rolling hills of the wine road.
The architecturally interesting art nouveau villa surrounded by a 15,000 m2 of beautiful parkland, an ideal place to relax.
The B & B is centrally located to reach all sights within an hour (25 km Pisa, Lucca 40, Florence 60, Siena 70, San Gimignano 45, Volterra 35 and the sea 25 km).
Enclosed parking.
Beautiful pool area overlooking the park.
Nice and clean rooms overlooking the park.
There is a welcome letter, as well as bottled water and books from the library in the family room.
Lots of information for the trips to the guest language! stand for the duration of your stay.
If the weather allows food in the park is served at beautifully decorated tables in the shade of centuries-old trees.
An exquisite dinner fantastic (if required) is served by candle light and every detail here is maintained with great care and the personal tastes of the owner. (Bravo Liliane and Maurizio!)
A family atmosphere - Liliane and Maurizio pamper their guests like they were family, but still not pushy!
A great price-performance ratio!
And the personal charm of the owners you get for free!
All in all a good holiday - we will come back.

Italian charm, great location, quiet, yet accessible to everything. Lillanna and Maurizo were wonderful hosts. Maurizo was quick to offer advise, brochures and general info on day trips and things to see. Rooms were nice, and quiet. Guests were offered a wonderful continental breakfast each morning. Warning, after you fill your plate and sit down, they bring croissants. We highly recommend staying at this villa, one could not ask for better hosts than Lillianna and Maurizo.
