We stayed here in early August for B & B on our way further South and were very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful location, grounds, Tudor-style buildings, very 'quirky', full of charm and it's own security gates! Our room had subdued lighting and was very colourfully decorated on an 'African' theme. There was a TV but unfortunately no tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was lovely with a multi-jet shower (which I was looking forward to using, but unfortunately couldn't get the jets to work and the shower was a trickle!) . The rooms lead out onto a communal covered terrace with chairs and tables, overlooking pasture with donkeys and sheep- lovely!
We were greeted by an 'effervescent' French lady, an extremely welcoming
and enthusiastic hostess. The breakfast is taken in a separate 'quirky', brightly decorated out-building, again looked after by the jolly lady that greeted us. There was the usual choice of French bread/croissant, yoghurt, french cheeses, eggs and preserves, with lovely coffee and a selection of teas. I'm very happy we stumbled upon this delightful B & B and would recommend it.
(However ask for ground floor room if unstable on your feet, as the upstairs is accessed by a steep, metal flight of outdoor steps! )
