Me and my frinds went to visit Mont Saint Michel so we book 2 rooms at Les Blotteries. Best choice! The owner received us with pleasure and showed us the house. Rooms are very spacious and with a great view. in the morning Jean prepared a delicious french breakfast with tea, coffe, croissants, pain ou chocolat and a wonderful homemade rhubarb and apple gem (I also got for free from Jean one jar at home, thank you). If you want a realy nice place to stay within 10 min car walk from Mont St. Michel, Le Blotteries is the best choice.

Stayed with our four year old daughter and had a lovely time. Our host was most accommodating and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Very authentic French experience in the lovely countryside and very quiet.

The place is lovely, with wonderful grounds, a great place out in the countryside. It is located not far away from Mont St Michel so we managed some sightseeing too! As we arrived, Jean came out to meet us. He was charming, had a good sense of humour and was sociable throughout our stay, chatting to us and this made us feel very welcome. He showed us to our room and talked us through some of it's unique features. The property was tastefully decorated throughout. Our room was extremely spacious, had a second single bed, was clean and met all our requirements. We drove to a local restaurant for our evening meal. We stayed for one night before travelling back to Folkestone so we had to get up early, Jean was happy to serve us an early breakfast which consisted of a boiled egg, apple juice, coffee, breads and croissants. There were different jams and he even brought a big pan in from the kitchen to show us they were home-made! They were delicious. I would recommend to others to stay here and hope we can return one day.

Our family of 4 stayed on 1 night, but we loved it. We stayed in a converted barn which was lovely. The girls had a room on the top floor and we were on the bottom floor. The owners cat was very friendly and may have spent the night with the girls. Two horses resided in the field behind our "barn" and 1 particularly enjoyed the attention our teenage girls gave it. The owner was very attentive. We arrived later than expected due to rain and he was there waiting for us. After arriving, we went to Mt. St. Michel which is only 15 minutes from the hotel. I was surprised by this, as it looks further on the map. The next day we were headed to the Loire Valley and the owner made a suggestion to stop at a castle on the way - it was a great suggestion.

We stayed 2 nights at Les Blotteries while cycling through Brittany. Our room was upstairs in the main house, very spacious, rustic and well appointed. Jean kindly drove us to a restaurant to save us biking and also showed us some of the sights of the area. We would certainly recommend to others

Three friends and I stayed in this B&B for one night and we loved it! The host is so lovely and funny - we had nice chats with him and even a small nip of Calvados together!
The property is situated in a beautiful location and we slept soundly throughout the night. The breakfast was held in the main house and it was very good.
The B&B is located quite close to Mont Saint Michel so it is an ideal accomodation away from the tourist traps near Le Mont. We had dinner in St Malo which is an easy 45 min drive away.

It is a countryside B&B, we stayed there one night while on the way to Mont St Michel. I definitely recommend this hotel instead of staying crowded and touristy hotels, it is only 15-20 min to Mont St Michel and on the way if you go further to Cancale, a beautiful seaside village, for a good oyster, seafood restaurants and nice view where you can see high/low tides. The owner was very friendly, prepared us country style French breakfast and we had it on a big table together with another couple just next to a warm fireplace. It is a lovely place for a quiet, peaceful night.
