A medium size and medium priced camping site on the outskirts of Jumieges.
The site has reasonable sized pitched denoted by hedges. Some are grand comfort with their own water, sewage and electric on each pitch.
The only negative to the pitches is that some require good reversing skills if they are to be accessed by a caravan.
The site has a very small shop with a bread van that calls each morning and a small takeaway open in the evenings.
There is an attractive swimming pool and sun lounge area.
A warning is that although the site is open until the end of October the bread and take away finish at the end of August.
Wifi is available on the site although connection is VERY expensive so much so that unlike the other sites in France that I visited I did not connect to the internet.
The village of Jumieges is very nice with several restaurants including a nice Crepe/Galette
I can especially recommend a salon de the in the car park opposite the abbey-If the owner offers you her home made tarts - Say YES!!
The old abbey is worth a visit for the 5 euro entry fee.
Jumieges is on a large bend in the Seine and so access from the south is via a free ferry across the river.
