For calm, charm, and the most incredible experience, you must stay at the Alacati Tas Otel! The staff are incredibly helpful, you can walk to the beaches in 30 minutes (or take a domus) and the village hopping.
I can be a picky traveler and this is one of the few hotels I have ever been too where I had no complaints or suggestions! Stay. And stay for days.

During our turkey trip we stayed in this small, lovely hotel for only 2 nights. We wished we'd have stayed longer ! The hotel is just around the corner from a cosy street with shops and restaurants (so quiet enough). Opposite the hotel, there is a good restaurant. Alacati is a lovely town with a 'south of france' atmosphere. Well maintained rooms.

On arriving in Alacati from Izmir airport, the streets were incredibly quiet with no-one wandering around. However, in the evening, the place comes alive with an amazing choice of restaurants. The Tas is a lovely wee place, with a wonderful breakfast and a pool for when it gets too hot. The small touches like having olive oil soap in the ensuite was appreciated. You do need a car to get around during the day as it is about a 15-20 minute drive to the beautiful beaches at Ilica and Dalyan. It is not ideal for early bedders as the music from the nearby restaurants goes on til around 1 pm but that wasn't a problem for us. If we do ever return to Alacati then we will definitely stay at the Tas.

Lovely room adequate for two children and parents. We were quite well taken care of , and yet allowed enough privacy to feel as if we were at home. Thank you. Alacati is beautiful and the people make it more so.

As we pulled up to the Tas through an alley that was bordered by a cemetery we were a bit skeptical. But once inside we realized the grounds were very nice. We opted for one of the larger rooms and it was good size, very clean and had a great shower. The town is actually fairly cute and there are plenty of places to eat. The hotel loves to send you to Agrilia and it was delicious.

The big drawback was that we were there the last week in May, which isn't peak season yet. While the weather was ideal to sit by the pool and read, the environment was far from perfect. There was constantly construction going on next door in multiple directions. This also hurt our ability to sleep as it started fairly early in the morning (right after the prayers and dog howling quieted down). The pool area is nice but there are only four lounge chairs which could also be a problem in high season.

Zeynap apologized and explained there is a rule that all construction must end by June 1st but that didn't help us. Overall we were frustrated since this was the "relaxing" part of our trip and we paid the same price as high season, and while she did apologize, that was all that was done.

We did go to Cesme and Ilica and were happy to be staying in Alacati. Its a cute village as long as you don't mind not being right on the water.
