me and my girlfriend have been the first time in alacati. tas otel was the best choice ever. the hospitality and great tips of the hotel team, the cosiness and the fantastic location. and not to forget the excellent cake in the afternoons. a very enjoyable exttra! since it was pre season we had to deal with some construction work next to the hotel. but the managment of the hotel could even reduce their working time and noise for our convenience. thanx a lot for an unforgettable stay. we will definitely come back, hopefully soon.

Awesome.

Friendly.

Rent a scooter to get around town, you'll be glad you did.

I think it's all been said before about the Tas Otel so why repeat other reviews. Well because its worth it! The welcome is warm aided by home made lemon squash. Guidance on just about anything enquired about is readily available. The rooms are delightful we stayed in Room 7 and Room 8 the garden room. The garden provides a relaxing haven supervised by the laid back Olum (a Golden Retriever). Complementary tea with homemade cake is served late afternoon. Breakfast is delightful with a vast choice of home made delicacies and hot dishes from the kitchen. Staff are attentive in a relaxed way - nothing is too much trouble. All this and Zeynep, the visionary owner who masterminded the resuscitation of the beautiful village of Alacati, who illuminates Tas Otel with charm, intelligence and brilliant attention to detail. What more could anyone need on a holiday?

We stayed at Tas Otel in September and beginning of october 2009. It was marvelous and so relaxing – simply wonderful. The rooms are rather small but very beautiful decorated and there are so many small things that make your heart happy in this place. The old house with its parts of wood and stones in the wall. The "stone-carpets" in the garden. The fantastic homemmade marmelade, the tasteful music, the cold but refreshing pool and most of all: Zeynep and her team - who always give you a smile and are as helpful as can be. And guys: taste the homemade cakes, that you get every afternoon. I would not recommend the Hotel to those who need the big thing: Spa and a big Lobby and TV and all those thing that you don`t need in Holidays anyway. But for those who love the small things and a small hotel, that is decorated and run with love and passion: go for it. We felt like a part of it for one week. And we still miss Olom, the dog, a kind of yogi. See him laying on the back and dancing with his feet...fantastic!
