We were a little dubious about eating in a restaurant called L'Escargot in Turkey as we weren't looking for French cuisine. We ended up having a really wonderful evening and went back two days later. Avoiding the tasting menu on both occasions my wife chose the oxtail ravioli as a first course followed by beef. I had mixed root vegetables followed by lamb. The second time we inverted our choices. The oxtail ravioli in particular were amazing. Decent wine. Decent service. Decent price. Not to be missed.
