We were over in Ditchiling for the weekend and wanted a indian meal and found this local establishment by chance.
We were quickly seated and ordered a few starters which consisted of kebabs, chicken and aloo chaat. The staters were very nice although the chutneys were quite bitter ans the onion salad was awful. As for the main we ordered the special meat dish with a lamb biryani. Both of our main dishes were terrible. The house special was so dry and tased a few days old. The lamb biryani was also very dry and the lamb was terribly over cooked. We left most of our meal and still paid the full amount of about £50. For such a basic meal, it was hugely over priced.
We were the first customers of the night so expected freshly cooked home food and this is totally what we didn't get it. The food was bland, dry and without much taste.
I would not recommend this resturant at all. Being indian myself, I know how to cook an indian meal and this definitely is what we didn't get.
