“Pretty decent family meal”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Needed to find a place that catered for a decent size group of people, including the kids. Nothing special about layout / atmosphere, if anything rather bright. Good beers on tap. Larry the main man enjoyed a bit of banter, which was was nice for a change. Food was fine. Kids really enjoyed it. Portions were good. Nothing to write home to you mum about though! If I was mountain biking / walking etc and needed a good large meal for a group of people with different tastes, this pub would be a safe bet.

“What a little gem.”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

Went here today on a friends recommendation for Sunday lunch. We got a warm welcome-shown to a table in the lovely little restaurant and served with a delicious, piping hot three course meal. The portions were more than adequate and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The setting is beautiful-right beside the river Alyn where in the better weather you can sit and enjoy a drink(or two!)Would we return to The Bridge Inn-most definately.

“Great lunch and fantastic welcome”
Reviewed January 27, 2014 via mobile

Popped into The Bridge for lunch with my business partner. Fantastic welcome from host Larry. Steak and Ale pie was spot on. Sausage and mash also great. Would recommend The Bridge Inn to anyone. Give it a try.

“5 Star Family Meal”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

We called to book a table on the off chance and had 5 in our party, when we arrived we were welcomed and taken straight to our table. A fantastic menu with a great choice of Sunday lunch and a la carte. We all had the Sunday 2 Course. There is only one word to describe our experience "Awesome" and i don't say this lightly, the service, the quality and quantity, and the general atmosphere of the place was truly 5 Star.

I love The Bridge Inn and will always highly recommend it to anyone.

Well done guys give your selves a pat on the back you all deserve it.

“A Bridge Too Far ? ~ Not Anymore !”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

I have driven past this building hundreds of times over the years and it always looks busy. Why was it so busy ?
Lunch time Friday I stopped asking the question and strolled in with my partner to sample two mains @ £12.
Braised Steak for Her and Sausage and Mash for Him.
Open roaring fire in the bar and extremely efficient but personable bar man who offered a taster of beer to help me make up my mind.

Good sign I thought and if the food is any good !

Well the food was excellent and of a very high quality and when we finished we concluded that this Inn would remain on our regular lunch time venues including their next Sunday Carvery !
