As many voter said, worth visiting here to see the architecture especially for architects and the students.
There are two main building combined each other.
The Building might be so simple construction, but you can feel much nature in the building.
Sunshine,wind,flow of water....

You can feel different aspects in each season.

Quite disappointing as drove all the way from Hikone to see the ‘magic’ attractions. Limited displays means we are done in 30 minutes and pretty nothing much more to offer.

Traditional Japanese Tea ceremony goods from Raku Kichizaemon. The collection is the best in Japan. You will not be able to find this much collection in Kyoto either. If you are found of Japanese Tea Ceremony or near Kyoto area, I recommend to visit.

As other reviewers have noted, the architecture is incredible. The interior display arrangements are state-of-the-art. But the facility surpasses the contents. Three artists only are exhibited and I assume that this place is the residual depository of their work. Some of the Silk Road water colors are good, but too many are just so- so. Same goes for the ceramics. The bronzes pieces are almost all of museum quality. Overall, an incredible place well worth visiting but maybe in need of a more demanding curator. Recommended.
