They say that the room is wider than other hotel but I don't agree. The smells of room was so disgusting before I change the room. Relatively far from station. And the breakfast was too sweet and too salty. Simply BAD.

This hotel was all and, in some ways more, than I hoped for: comfortable and clean, friendly service, decent room with good-quality firm bed, and awesome wireless Internet access. Walking from the Imari train station to the hotel took less than 10 minutes. The public baths at the hotel were nice. Even if they were not special in form or atmosphere, their mere existence was a happy bonus.

I recommend Imari Grand Hotel as a solid and value-priced choice for anyone staying overnight in Imari.

Had to stay in Imari for a few nights while working in Sasebo as there were no rooms in Sasebo due to a big sporting event. The Imari Grand is a typical Japanese hotel. Good value, small rooms, hard beds, includes a "spa" type bath on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was a good buffet with mostly Japanese style offerings. There were scrambled eggs as well. Train to Sasebo took about an hour each way each day but was pleasant. Mostly you are traveling with kids going to school. There are decent restaurants in Imari for the size of the town. One special note - go to "Jazz and Whiskey" if you would like to hear some good music and meet the locals.

Room tip: not much difference between rooms here
