“pineapple cars and SNACKS!!!!”
Reviewed May 9, 2012

This place was fun (actually go every time someone visits from the USA). It has a little ride through the pineapple fields (small areas with various stages of pineapples growing), then on through a shell museum (definitely not my favorite part of the place but if you like shells you're in luck!) then on to the best part of the experience... SAMPLES!!! It's like Costco samples, but completely revolving around the pineapple experience (pineapple wine, cake, candy, etc). Hard not to walk out of there without some sort of pineapple purchase! Go on an empty stomach!

“A Popular Tourist Attraction”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

The Pineapple Park is one of the most popular attractions for tour busses on the island. There is a little five minute train ride through some covered pineapple garden that I imagine children may enjoy. I've visited twice and walking through with a camera is the way I prefer to go. If you are interested in photography, you can easily spend an hour there. Sandals are fine because there aren't any dangerous walkways to turn an ankle on. Strollers and wheelchairs have access. At the time I was last there, I wished the signs showing the pineapple wine-making process had been translated to English; they were only in Japanese. The staff are all polite and friendly and the environment is comfortable.
It is recommended that if you drive, get there early, as the parking area does get busy later on in the day. Free goodies (samples) of pineapples are plentiful. Cookies, candies and cake. Sample shots of pineapple wine are also free but, for drivers, not recommended.

“just okay”

It's a touristy place, so if you're into being showed 1000 ways to use pineapple and buy it, go for it.
