It is not located deep in a forest area or up in the hills. The waterfall is located on a flat plain right next to a roadstop. Out in open farm country. And it is less than a km from the main road so easy to access. There is a long suspension bridge spanning the river, whose main purpose is to give you a good vantage of the waterfall for photos. You can also walk above the waterfall on a concrete walkway. Normally you cannot access the top of waterfalls due to the geography of the location, but not here. There are couple of benches with a good view of the waterfall, great for obento eating. I visited at the end of December and I swear, I was the ONLY person at this tourist attraction the 30-40 minutes I was at the waterfall. Even the roadstop was deserted. But this was two weeks before New Year's. At the road stop, next to it there is an eatery that specializes in ice cream and milk dishes with exotic flavors of ice cream, with some live goats tethered outside. Bought an ice cream cone and the portion was huge. Really enjoyed the lack of crowds. The roadstop has a big restaurant, and there is another farmhouse-type restaurant closer to the waterfalls with a waterwheel.
