We come here for golfing. The environment is good. The onsen is Japanese style. Room is big in Japanese standard. Staff here speak minimal English but you can still survive. The resort is 20 minutes drive from any shopping and restaurant.

Pretty far from the city center of the Nichinan City, stands this hotel. This hotel has a hot spring and golfing facility but if you are here to look around the Obi area, it might be a bit far away.

My son & I stayed at J's Hotel NIchinan for 3 nights in this hotel visiting friends.

We really enjoyed this hotel, the views from the room was spectacular and the staffs were extremely helpful & friendly. The room was big unlike any other Japanese hotels.

There is also a beautiful golf course overlooking the mountains. The weather was fantastic, except for the last 2 days of our stay, it started to rain but it was still nice.

The hotel was located on the top of the hill, hence transport is not convenient, and there were no bus shuttle.
We had to take the taxi up & down the hotel, but it was worth the stay.

From a distance, it appears to sit on top of the summit of the mountain, Mt. Hanatateyama (?). I stayed at a level 6 room between 10th. & 16th.Oct.,2015 and found environment generally conducive to de-stressing, rest & recuperation. At 0600 to 0630 hrs. I could see a localized cloud formation and beautiful sun rise over distant peaks. Except for week end, the "onsen" (indoor & outdoor hot-spring pools) were well maintained and relaxing, often with less than 3 persons in men's pools. For privacy, there are 2 locked, private onsen (for a couples) at 1,500 Yen(?). Resort reception has a staff who can speak understandably good English. Taxi down to nearest train station, Kitago Station, takes about 10 minutes, costs about 2,100 Yen and Reception staff was glad to assist in calling for the taxi without additional charges. Daytime temperatures were about 24 degrees Celcius, evening temperatures at a cooling 11 to 15 degrees Celcius (approximations). Air was fresh and crisp. It has an 18-hole golf course spread over a vast expanse with scenic views all round.
