Great food choices and expert cooking for the tasting menu paired with wonderful and some slightly unusual wines. I would have awarded five stars except that the lobster bon bon course was somewhat overwhelmed by the level of seasoning such that you couldn't actually taste lobster. Panacotta could also have benefitted from more flavour. But, overall, a very fine dinner with attentive service and I would certainly recommend this as a great choice. Well done all concerned!

Formal eating with elegant tables and polite attentive staff. Superb taster menu with matching wines. Every dish a joy. Slightly put off from the outside as it is a former pub and looks like it but impressed when inside. I will go again, when I have saved some pennies!

Our first visit to The Harrow today will be one to remember!
On arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our beautifully presented table and served a glass of "the no.1 sparkling wine in the world!"
This set the scene for the rest of the tasting menu...each course accompanied by a lovely wine.
As others have said...the atmosphere is so welcoming and comfortable...something they have obviously worked hard to achieve.
Not a cheap lunch, but very special....ours was a present from our son and daughter.....what a great idea it was too!
Thank you to all the team for such a wonderful day.

I can only echo what other reviewers have said: this is a restaurant that's doing everything right. The cooking is exceptional, the wines are chosen with care, the welcome is friendly and sincere, and the atmosphere is both elegant and comfortable - which is a difficult combination to achieve.

The Tasting Menu is a nice way to get to know what The Harrow was all about; make sure you have plenty of time, though - it's an experience that you savour over a few hours!

Is it inexpensive? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely. We'll be going back!

As a first time visitor to The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, we enjoyed a truly excellent lunchtime meal today. Impeccable, attentive (but not over-bearing!) service by Sue and her team and truly outstanding food by Roger and his kitchen team. All the courses in the tasting menu were beautifully presented. The flavours of each of the courses were perfectly complemented by the accompaniments and dressings provided, adding, not over-powering the flavours. Sue suggested some excellent and unexpected wines by the glass for us to try, perfectly complementing the meal. The "boiled egg" surprise prior to the excellent dessert was perfect! Very clever. Thank you to Sue and Roger for a most enjoyable experience. We will be back!

Thank you for taking the time to write on Trip Advisor and for your kind comments, yes hopefully I have trained my wife well! Both Sue and I are keen to promote new and different wines and we were pleased that you liked the wine experience. Look out for some great offers on our website for January.
