Kyounso was a beautiful ryokan in Hachimantai. The tatami room with an ensuite toilet and sink was beautiful.The ryokan was heated very effectively. The outdoor onsen was spectacular. Kaiseki diner and japanese breakfast were delicious. Skitouring in Hachimantai and on Mount Iwate was spectacular. There was a bus stop just outside the ryokan. Only down point there was no internet connection.

We spent four amazing nights at Kyounso. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and the staff were fantastic the whole trip. Beautiful ryokan!! Gorgeous rotemburo. Delicious food. Good place to do some lovely hiking. Try get a room with a toilet which are located close to the onsen. Autumn colours were beautiful. Great place if you are looking for rest and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.
