What lovely people and a fantastic room! We stayed in the 'Sei' room with classic paper window shutters and warm orange walls.

The breakfast was also great, cooking our own fish at the table was an experience not to be missed and the mushroom miso soup was just wonderful.

We are so great full for your hospitality and your kind presents on departure, Thank you!

We would recommend this little place to everyone for value and hospitality x

Konjimari staff has been very welcoming, friendly, and helpfull. The rooms are nice and spacious. The location is convenient. And the limited number of rooms make it a very quiet and cosy place. Highly recommended!

Our family of three, including our 12 year old son, stayed at Kojinmari for one night in Oct. 2011. The hosts were superb in explaining the how to use the baths and recommended specific ones. Since we do not speak Japanese, their ability to communicate in English was most appreciated. They kindly took a photo of us outside of the onsen and printed a copy for us upon our departure. Outstanding dinner and breakfast served on our spacious room on the top floor. A fantastic experience.

A group of 6 of us took 3 of the 4 rooms at Kojinmari and can honestly say that this was the highlight of our vacation. All the rooms were emaculate but of course, the Rin suite with private rotenburo (outdoor bath) was divine! This ryokan is run by the Kojima family. The service level was impeccable! The son, Kojima-san who runs the inn is also a trained chef and prepared the most fabulous kaiseki dinner for us! We selected the tajima beef dinner, however, this kaiseki also included an incredible assortment of delicious, fresh seafood - of course since Kinosaki is located near the Japan seaside. It is literally a 5-10 minutes stroll from the Kinosaki train station to Kojimari. This quaint onsen town is easy to navigate and everything is within a short walking distance. Sadly, we only stayed 1 night but already plan to return with at least a 2-3 night stay...it is THAT fabulous! Kojima-san....hontouni domo arigatou gozaimashita!

I travelled with two other friends, and we stayed in Rin room. It was heaven!! Own pivate bath (rotemburo style). The owner was very nice, speaks good english, and lovely food. He even made this cute little card with our photo on it as souveniers. Everything is provided, just bring yourself and a toothbrush/toothpaste. One tip: If you are going from Kyoto, leave your luggage in the lockers provided by the train stations (allowed for 3 days).

Ok, Kojinmari is a very simple Ryokan. Specially compared to what is around. However since most of the time you will spend in your yukata going from bath to bath, you don't need more than what they offer. Above all, the service was... how can I put? the best! I usually don't care much about it, however the owners were such a sweet heart that it made the whole difference. Honestly, I am a frequent international traveler and I definitely recommend this hotel.
