I've been to sushic several times now and it's invariably a great fusion sushi experienced. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and the staff are very friendly and polite. As for the food, it's one of the best fusion sushi I have ever tasted. If you are looking for traditional sushi, this is not the place to go, though. However, there is a number of options for people who don't like sushi. Good value for money. Overall great experience.

Great sushi restaurant, nice staff, nice enviroment. The fish is always very fresh, and the fusion sushi is the best I've eaten. The only thing I dislike is the amount of turns you need to make to arrive to the restaurant since they change the traffic.

The best sushi that I have ever tried! The quality of products, wide variety of sushi, the magnificent flawours and personal approach makes this place the best choice for sushi. Situated close to Almada Business hotel, is the perfect place for dinner, not only for two but also group of friends! The vine list is great, including Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French vines and champagne.
Very friendly, kind atmosphere and personal approach from owners. Advice- better to book the table in advance, people like this place a lot!

This place was a very pleasant surprise -- located quite out of the way from the usual restaurant areas, but it delivered a punch! Smallish, with just several tables inside and a couple or so outside, in one of the lower floors of a mostly nondescipt residential block of apartments, you could never guess from outside what wonderful flavours they conjure up inside!

The menu is extensive -- another surprise, something that I only usually see in big and upscale restaurants -- sushi of course being offered in dozens of varieties, the customer is spoiled for choice. We settled on gyoza as starters, and decided on the pink ginger sushi, and beef teriyaki. Used to eating in japanese restaurants in Asia and elsewhere, we were again surprised by the amount of the servings -- certainly not Japanese size but Western size! (This was a positive of course...extending the idea of fusion perhaps!) Everything was excellent -- the gyoza was well done, the sushi was not only very pretty to look at, but tasted even better -- the ginger and mango mix going very well together, and the beef very tender and succulent. We were full already, but after enjoying what we had, we couldn't possible pass up dessert. Had the crepe with fruits, which was again nicely put together, and didn't disappoint.

Service is quick and attentive, the interior is more like a bar than a restaurant but it works just fine. Prices are very reasonable, and no more than what you pay for here for an average restaurant meal. But with the excellent quality of the food, this means you get much more out of it here than in the average place. I've tried many restaurants in Portugal with Asian cuisine, and this is certainly one of the very few which I can recommend!

The only downside is the location which is not so accessible. But how to get there: For those with cars, it's just after the Almada exit (coming from Lisbon) in the big roundabout across the Parque de Paz, on the left side of the roundabout where the big apartment buildings are. The easily recognizable sign would be Avipeixe, which is exactly next door to Sushic. If coming by public transport, the easiest way would to take the Almada Metro (at the Cacilhas terminal, take the Metro bound for Corrois) and get off the stop called Cova de Piedede (around 6 stops). The building is on the other side of the intersection, can be seen from the Metro stop, and is an easy 5-10 minute walk.

From the classic Japanese food to the fusion with Portuguese and Brazillian flavours everything is delicious, the atmosphere is very cosy and the service is as friendly as it gets. One of our favorite places, where we keep going back and still manage to have pleasent surprises.
