Owner description: The Blue Lagoon water park is open all year round and is the perfect place for the whole family - what ever the weather! From the waves in the pool to the lazy river that meanders in and out of the building to embarking on some rip-roaring fun through one of the many indoor and outdoor water flumes! The Blue Lagoon is open daily from 10am and prices start from £4 – Come and try its Wild Water nights on Fridays when the music plays and waves are as big as they get and the lazy river definitely isn’t lazy! During school holidays it has its After Dark Beach Party on every night from 6pm – 3 hours of live music, light effects and all out Blue Lagoon action! It also offers a range of themed events and more information can be found at our website.

“Waste of money”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

My children have been waiting a long time to visit this Water park. As soon as we arrived they were disappointed , they where not allowed on the slides( aged 4 and 6). Having been allowed on the slides at centre parks last year you can only imagin their disappointment. There was very little else to do, the main pool which is small is so over crowded you couldn't swim without bumping into people. They did enjoy the lazy river. The main thing I did notice is how poorly maintained it whole place was. It was old grotty and tatty looking. Lots of rust, dirty tiles and the changing area was no better. Anyone planning on going please note.... This is not a water park by any means, it is very small and poor value for money.

“Good fun”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

We stayed at Bluestone so entry was complimentary for us. There were about 4/5 slides, lazy river which is fun and wave machine. There are also some chill out areas to lounge about in. we went after 6pm when the after dark party started, the pool area had been transformed in to a Caribbean theme, but as we went just after 6, there were no live performers at that time, I assume they are there later on. Overall a fun time out, and the water was nice and warm even when the lazy river went outside.

“getting colder!”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

We've been visiting for 5 years or so. The first time was when there was snow on the ground and it was gorgeously warm in and out of the water. Each time we've been since it has been colder and more crowded. The food is fine, much as would be expected from this sort of place and the staff have always been friendly. The big disapointment is illustrated by the fact that on the first visit we were warm in our trunks but this time people were shivering in their outdoor clothes sat around the pool. We won't be going back.

“Great for toddler”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Went on a tuesday morning which is especially for young children. Was quite expensive and I was expecting more floats and fun things out for the little one to play with as was discribed in the leaflet. That said we had a super time, my toddler absolutely loved it! We really had a great time, all the shallow pools were perfect for little ones and the big pool was not busy at all (in March). Changing rooms were very well kept and clean.

“A great place to go during the cold weather.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We visited twice during the half term. The kids love it and we enjoyed the warm water. One of my daghters is registered disabled and we have been six times in the last few years. It was only on our seventh visit due to computer issues we did not book online. It was to our great surprise that an email query informed us that one of the adults went in free. This is not visible on the web site or else where. We were greatful but disappionted that we have paid for one to many adults six times during the summer.
We did however take advantage of the rapid return offer giving us a second swim at half price.
We loved it again and the lack queues was a real bonus.
