A great value place to stay in March, just on the edge of the town in what was a pub.
The room was in good order and very clean, the bathroom was excellent.
The downsides were the television which was very small and the room had no chair.
Breakfast was good.
For £35 through Laterooms it was good value for money

I think the key selling point of this B&B is Vince the owner he is so helpful and friendly. We stayed here for one night as we were travelling through. The B&B is very clean, our room was spacious and the breakfast was good. I am vegetarian and Vince even had veggie sausages. Excellent value for money would definately stay again if we were in the area again. Thank you Tracey and Paul

Room Tip: We had room number 2 on the back, spacious and quiet.

Fantastic value for money, brilliant breakfast in the morning, does a lovely fry up. Extremely helpful owners who were very accommodating when we had a change of room booking almost at the last minute. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for one night with my husband in a barn conversion flat. Nice and clean and comfortable. Fitted kitchen downstairs with tea and coffee provided and milk in the fridge. Very friendly. Full english breakfast included as well as the usual cereal and toast. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed in the other flat, which is just as good. It is very good value for money and I would happily stay again.

We arrived on Thursday night to find the booking agent had given wrong dates for one of our two nights and the pub inside covered in sheets while decorated. Not a good start.

A BIG however though was the owner who did everything possible and sorted our room for us was helpful and made everything easy.

The room was fine, perhaps decor wise little basic but for b&b it was spotless with clean thick soft towells each day.

Toilet system used is a bit noisy and being hot with windows open on a main road made a little load.

A great touch facilities wise is outside the rooms is a small kitchen with plates, cutlery, fridge, microwave etc. This was useful as March had limited places to eat within walking distance. The local chineese takeaway was very good was we eat in room with TV.

Cost wise we have stayed in cheaper and better but not in this area where prices are higher than many other locations.

Best part has still to be the owners and the service.

I stayed in the old pub and the rooms were excellent –spotless, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, TV, WIFI, kitchenette outside room.

The owner and rest of the staff couldn't have been better and breakfast was very good indeed.

The only slight negative was that the rooms at the front can be a bit noisy due to the local idiot boy racers speeding around during the night – however I can’t blame the establishment for that.

Overall an excellent stay and amazing value for money.
