I've stayed in this b&b for 3 days and I have to say it was such a lovely stay! The couple who run this place have been more than kind and helpful, the room was clean and bright and simply looked wonderful! All facilities great and the breakfast was also tasty ;) overall great value for money - I would recommend it and surely will stay there again!!

This THE most delightful B&B but a lot more than that!! Steve and Angela are so very welcoming . The beds are very comfortable and the rainwater shower is small but blissful.
There is a choice of full English and I mean full (black pudding!!) or normal toasts cereals good tea and coffee juices. It is also spotlessly clean with everything provided soft towels good shower gel!! Enjoy it when you are in the area.

Room Tip: I have been there twice and the rooms are very similar, Clean comfy with everything you need provide...

Thank you for your great review, I think that Sale must be one of the best areas in Manchester to stay as the choice is great. I shall pass your compliments to the chief (Steve) about his breakfasts everyone seems to love the choice and quality of our food and accommodation which is great. We have just finished another summer of decorating inside and out, no rest for Steve
Kind regards

It's always a pleasure to stay at Brooklands Lodge, Steve & Angela always make you feel at home, they are great hosts and a mine of information about local eateries and attractions. Excellent location close to the Metro and just a short walk from the myriad of restaurants in Northenden Road. Great value, generous sized clean rooms and a home cooked breakfast.....spot on!

Super B&B, so friendly and accommodating, just like a home from home. Great location for exploring the area, only a few minutes to nearest Metro station with direct access to central Manchester and connections to Trafford Park shopping centre, Media City and of course Old Trafford football and cricket grounds. Will certainly return and would highly recommend.

Lovely welcome, very comfortable, great location, always helpful, everything "worked" but above all very friendly and lots of fun. If you like a cosy and homely feel as opposed to impersonal functionality then this is the place. My son and I were looked after extremely well as we stayed for 4 nights while attending 2013 Ashes Test Match at Old Trafford. Thanks to Steve and Angela, our stay at Brooklands Lodge was spot on. We arrived as visitors and felt that we left as friends.

Thank you for the fabulous review, we're glad you enjoyed your stay with us and also enjoyed the local attractions, restaurants and pubs here in Sale. We also enjoyed the weekend with the "not so Barmy Army"!! You're timing was impeccable, as the rain fell today and so did the Aussies!

Booked from Australia on recommendation of some locals, Brooklands ended up being a four day home away from home. Comfortable well decorated rooms with continental breakfast include and a cooked breakfast at a very modest rate if required.
Owners were unobtrusive but there to help with any inquiry when required. Light rail transport very close to travel into Manchester and surrounding area around Brooklands is canal country....good walking/coffee areas with at least two pubs close by with great food menus.
In a word, Stay !

My partner and myself stayed at the Lodge on the weekend of Friday 21st June we were in Manchester for the Robbie Williams concert at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 22nd June. We had tried to book a hotel in the centre of Manchester but to no avail so I looked further a field and stumbled across the Lodge. I read the reviews beforehand and booked an exec ensuite double room and what a lovely surprise it was it was like being at home with many lovely touches and the whole atmosphere of the place was so warm and friendly and this was mainly due to the lovely two people who run the Guest House Steve and Angela.

It is handy for the Metro Link into Manchester and there is a nice pub across the road.We often pop up to Manchester for the weekend mainly because we love the City so we will definetly staying there again on one of our next visits especially if Steve can get us a pair of tickets to watch Man Utd.

Thanks for a lovely stay Steve & Caroline

Room Tip: Choose an Exec Double en suite great value.

Thanks for your review, we really appreciate your kind feedback. I'm pleased that you "stumbled" upon Brooklands Lodge but it's also a shame that Trip Advisor see fit not to list us in Manchester even though we have a Manchester postcode, crazy! You'll be more than welcome next time you're in town, only four stops on the Metro to the Theatre of Dreams, just be sure that you don't come with the Chelsea fan!
