We visited Blue Mountains during the Thanksgiving weekend and it was packed with visitors. There were a lot of activities for families and all the restaurants were enjoying good business. You can take a hike up the mountain trail, go ziplining, rock climbing, biking up the mountain, and other activities during summer and fall.

If you stay in the resort hotel you will have a discount on all the rides and activities in the resort. A must visit place anytime of the year.

Stayed here for a conference back in February. I don't ski, in fact I actually hate winter, should have been born a little further south....but this place is beautiful. So many restaurants to choose from and little quaint shops to browse in before stopping in at one of the many little taverns. Shared a room with a college but was never crowded as we had a main room with a bedroom , kitchen and a loft with another bedroom. My husband and I have been to Europe a few times and this place is definitely a take off on a northern French or Swiss village. My fantasy is to now spend part of the Christmas holidays here as I'm sure it will remind me how great it is to be Canadian. Or should I say Can AAH dian!

So rustic and chic at the same time. Beautiful scenery and right at the foot of the mountain. Loved it. Great shopping

All activities in one central location. We enjoyed zip lining, ridge runner and Gandola (lifts that take you to the top of blue mountain). Although bought tickets for Golf but didn't get the time. Tickets are valid for one year so will use them next time. View from the top is very scenic.

One other must activity is pottery painting at Crock A Doodle. Good stimulating experience for the kids as well. Note that once an item is painted, it is kept overnight by the store to get the finished product. It is all worth it.

It was too expensive to stay at the resort. We stayed at Days Inn in Collingwood which is only 10-15 minutes away from the resort.
