Like all the restaurants we found at Blue Mountain the prices were crazy high...but the service at Rusty's was the worst by far. Arrogant waitress, long wait for food. Won't be going back. Do yourself a favour and skip the Village and go into Collingwood proper. Better food, prices and service.

We've dined at Rusty's a number of times. The food is consistently good even when they are the busiest place on the Mountain in high season. We've gone as a family or 4 and as a much larger group of sixteen, adults and kids. Our servers couldn't have been better and the food is great. The ribs and brisket are divine, the maple glazed salmon is fabulous and I salivate over the beer-can chicken, especially with sweet potato frites. Nothing is ever a problem even when menu alterations are requested when it is hellishly busy. The house Shiraz by the glass is great and I'd make the trip just for the seafood soup alone. Very family friendly. They even go out of their way to seat families upstairs where it is a little easier with young ones. They have booster seats to make life easier and always rush the kids' food. By far the best place on the Mountain!

Tasty meal (seafood gumbo a must). Better to eat on main floor or patio. Upstairs alittle gloomy.

Location is great, place has ok food, but service really needs to improve. We've waited forever to have the order taken, then never came back to bring the bill. My friend forgot his IPhone there and had a big hard time to recover it... Even though he was sure it was there through Find My Phone app, they were trying to convince him that the phone was already gone. After insisting a lot, they decided to call the manager, who checked in the "lost and stolen" cabinet! It they have one, why don't they check it before securely say that there's nothing there???

My husband and I visited the city of Collingwood which is close to Blue Mountain. Unfortunately the warm weather kept the snow away and we were unable to ski as planned. We ate dinner here at Rusty's the first evening and sat at the bar. My Husband ordered the prime rib and I ordered the chicken pot pie... the food was awesome! But what was even better was the service. Sarah was our bartender/waitress and was so accommodating it turned our depressing day into not such a bad one after all. She gave us a ton of ideas of what to do in the city since the winter activities were out of the question. She even asked her Manager if one of the things she suggested for us to do was a seasonal event or if it was still open. Sarah went above and beyond attending to our drinks and food, but really sealed the deal by being friendly and extremely helpful.
