We have been booking family getaways in rental cottages for the last few years. Shale Beach House is 10 out of 10. The cottage is immaculate and the area is stunning - with something for everyone. We travelled with 6 adults and 2 young children (2 yrs and 4 months). The cottage is well laid out with loads of open space to expand into. Everything is well maintained and immaculately clean.
We have already recommended the cottage to others.

6 reviews I shared this cottage with 6 of my girlfriends for a weekend away from home. It was just beautiful! Everything you could possibily need is in this cottage. The best part was the amazing beds - "best sleep I have ever had" .. I would recommend this rental 150%. I will be returning whenever I want to get away. I loved ittttttt!

Great house, great property...firepit, hottub, Georgian Bay across the road, LCBO walking distance, bike trail...all awesome. Will definately go back.

1 review Shale Beach House is a very well maintained vacational home in the blue mountain area. The house provides everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. It is very conveniently located with only minutes driving to many local activities. It is well worthy of a five-star rating. Perfect in every way.

Beautiful house with great amenities especially for children and groups of people. Beautiful kitchen, probably more appliances than I have at home. Super to deal with and the lake is across the street.

This is a beautiful, spacious and well maintained home both inside and outside. The beds and linens in every room were very comfortable, even for our most picky guests. We had everything we needed when preparing meals in the beautiful kitchen. Shale beach across the street is clean and pretty much your own private beach. We preferred this spot to some of the more populated sandy beaches in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of mosquitoes in the outdoor sitting area. For those that like to relax and watch t.v., there is a great selection of cable channels which is not always the case at a cottage. The property manager was very helpful and made sure that everything was ready to go for our stay. It is clear that the owners of this property take great pride in providing a top quality home for their renters and I highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the area. You will not be disappointed!
