“Luxury close to the airport”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

We were looking for a nice place to stay our final night in France, one convenient to CDG for our flight home. Mont Royal fit the bill. The rooms were large and well appointed. The property was lovley and had a little walking trail through the forest---great for decompressing after a long drive. A light supper at the bar was exquisite--arugala and parmesean salad, basil rissotto with shrimp, and a crusty olive bread. Staff was helpful and outgoing. Only problem was they appeared understaffed at the front desk and in the restaurant the evening we visited.

This modern chateau built in the traditional style offers excellent luxury accommodation in a wooded rural location. The restaurant is good and the service is attentive. You certainly need a car to benefit from this remote location but you have easy access to the forests and castle of Chantilly.

Stayed there on business for 2 nights, unfortunately could not really enjoy the hotel. The room was very comfortable, and very nicely furnished. It is in the middle of nowhere, but was worked for me because it was very close to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The breakfast was ok at best, and costs 25 Euros. We had dinner at the restaurant one night, and my wife didn’t like the food that much. The prices were expensive for my taste. We enjoyed dinner a lot more the next night… we had it at the bar. Very cozy, beautifully decorated, surprisingly complete menu options… I would definitely recommend the bar over the restaurant.

I would definitely stay there again.

wonderful location ,only good for the ones who wish to be isolated, then it is very very nice. be careful when they have weddings or groups it will loose its charm. great rooms and wonderful breakfast . its ideal if want to stay in bed for few days, or if you wish to visit chantilly castles in style.

Room Tip: try to have a room in the old mansion , no groups use it.

My Mum and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. We had been in Paris before hand so got the train to the Hotel, which was easy enough until it came to ringing a taxi! my mobile had died and the train station is in a very remote place(all pay phone require cards) luckily a lovely man helped us and rang the hotel, they sent a car to collect us. the journey only took about 5 mins but cost 20 euros! The hotel rooms are lovely, ours was very quiet, actually I had 2 of the best nights sleep ever! The staff are nice, especially the chap who brings your bags to the room, I didn't catch his name but he speaks fantastic English and is very helpful. Breakfast is rather expensive at 25 euros per person and as the hotel is in a remote place, you are kind of stuck when it comes to options. The same goes for food in the bar! We had a funny situation with a Steak Tartare, lets just say that the Chef must have been shocked when I sent it back to be cooked! (totally my fault, and the staff were fantastic). If you require a taxi, the hotel will order you one but please make sure that the driver puts the meter on. We got one to Asterix Park which can actually been seen from the 2nd floor balcony, but it still cost us 45 euros! A different driver brought us home and only charged us 36. This hotel would be perfect if you were driving, that way you could explore the local area, and have choice when it comes to food.
I think part of this hotels charm is that it is so far away from everything, I would like to visit it again but only if we drove.

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights at the beginning of August. My husband chose the hotel because of its photograph displayed in the travel brochure and we were definitely not disappointed with what we saw. The hotel stands in a quiet and peaceful location and it really did look exactly as it did in the illustration. I was particularly delighted with the beautiful outside terrace, with its very inviting outdoor furniture. Staff were excellent and most had a fair command of English. The food was very good, including an excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. Our room was delightful, with views across the beautiful French countryside. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates high standards within a beautiful setting.

Stopped off here overnight to celebrate the final evening of our road trip around France and celebrate we did! The hotel is ideally placed to break the journey back North to the ferry ports and the right side of Paris to achieve this. A wonderful location with fantastic rooms and good service. Drinks prices are up where you would anticipate them to be but even I was amazed to find that the cheapest bottle of Champagne was 110 Euro's.................The outdoor terrace provides comfortable seating to enjoy an aperitif prior to sampling the gastronomic delights of the restaurant. The menu offers top class regional cooking and a decent wine list. Rooms extremely comfortable with every possible extra catered for and a very decent breakfast was enjoyed prior to departure. Worth the extra spend and recommended.
