Loved both our meals, prepared with love and care. The fish had amazing and interesting spices, filet Mignone perfectly cooked, Greek Salad light and full of flavor...the view is incomparable, the service was the best in Costa Rica! Thank you again, Carlos and Jose, Russell and Scott.

“Great Food, Service & View”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

I went with 5 people and we waited at the bar while we had a drink. My favorite was the Tuna Tostada Appetizer. I also had the seafood pasta and it was excellent as well.

“Great food”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

We went to Azul for the 1st time and had a great dinning experience. The food was delicious and Scott and Russel are great host. The pita bread to start was prepared perfectly and the salad and main course was equally well prepared. We will definitely be back soon.

“Enticing experience!”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

My 2 friends and I went to Azul for sunset cocktails and dinner. We sat with our drinks by the edge of the infinity pool, gazing and snapping photos of the breathtaking sunset over the pacific! Such colours! The dining room is a beautiful, cozy room with lots of open windows and 5-6 tables for 4. For starters I ordered Mediterranean bread and one of my friends ordered the fish soup. Then we were brought a complimentary dish of Chef Russell's signature hummus, pita, and roast whole chickpeas. All 3 dishes were delicious! For entrees, 2 of us had Moroccan Chicken, and 1 had the Fish of the day, Mahi Mahi. A nice glass of Pinot Grigio completed the choices and we enjoyed our meals while the breezes carried scents of the tropical rainforest in through the windows. To finish, Scott brought us all a chilled glass of iced Lemoncello .

The whole experience was magical! But not just because of the beautiful setting, the awesome sunset, or our exquisitely-prepared meals......because of the warm, attentive hospitality shown to us by our waiter Jose, Chef Russell, and Manager Scott. I highly recommend Azul for anyone wanting a quiet, elegant, and memorable evening. Reservations required. You WON'T
be disappointed !

“Good Lunch Spot If You're Looking For A Great View & Good”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

First thing that strikes you when you walk into the restaurant is the amazing view of the Pacific. So sit down, order a beverage from the very friendly staff and start with many of the great appetizers this restaurant has on its lunch menu. For us, it has always been the humus and pita. However, during our recent visit, the calamari looked amazing. For the main course, we had the Greek wraps with some amazing hand cut fries. We have never had dinner at Azul but looking at the menu, the variety of selections offered would no doubt please any palette. The restaurant is easy to get to (right off the main coastal highway just south of the main entrance into Ochojal) and well worth a repeat visit even it is for drinks to watch the amazing sunsets. And oh yes, very nice boutique hotel which the restaurant is part of. P.S. Ask for the Scott (part owner). He'll look after you in the best fashion someone from Oklahoma City would!!
