I just found this Beefeater a bit fragmented and lacking character. Nothing to do with staff and service (although the girl behind the bar preferred to speak to local 'boys', than serve customers); it was just barn-like... surrounded by concrete buildings. The restaurant (we did eat there), sits away from the lounge/bar area... it just felt like the movie Oliver... I wanted to ask for more. But, lest we forget, it's a Beefeater. However, if you want to drive another 9/10 miles or so to Falkirk, there is the Rosebank Beefeater, which is far superior... and with respect, a better clientèle.
It's OK for a pit-stop... but carry on to Falkirk if you can.... it's too much of a ghetto location for me.
