“Very Good”
Reviewed July 23, 2014 via mobile

Good food, great prices and friendly service. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the Mahi Mahi with Mango sauce was very good, but the Churrasco marinated in soy and ginger stole the show. Our waitress was great and we had a nice bottle of champagne at a great price. Would definitely return next time I'm in Puerto Rico.

“Good food. Tends to be loud.”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

The food is good. It's your average Cuban/Puerto Rican food. They also have a sushi bar. It's not out-of-this world food, but the prices are really good and it's close to where I live. It tends to get loud on the weekends, and that part I don't like. Some waiters are nice and some aren't. The food arrives on time. Haven't had any problem with the valet parking.

“Good food and service - bad valet parking”

Good for lunch or business lunch. Great prices and service.
The valet parking needs to improve. Only one person for all the custumers

“Very Satisfying!”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

For New Year's, the dining options were limited, but we fortunately found Caramelo open. There were 4 of us for dinner. The menu had enough items for a range of choices in each category. There was a sufficient amount of bottled craft beers available, in addition to the traditional choices you would expect. Bread service was fine, with butter and some other ingredient mixed together in a small dish. We skipped the appetizers, thinking the main dishes would be ample. They certainly were. Two had the Ropa Vieja canoas with rice and beans, and one the mofongo with Ropa Vieja. All the Ropa Vieja is Angus beef. A 10 oz churrasco with maposteado and ripe plantains was the other main course. Plates were left pretty much clean all around. Two of us shared a tres leches dessert, which was good and thankfully not overly large. Prices are reasonable, and the service was quite attentive. We will certainly return.
