“Beautiful, but crowded when the tide's in”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

Arrifana is a lovely beach in a beautiful setting. Parking by the beach isn't allowed, you can only drop off or pick up, leaving a walk down a winding road or a free shuttlebus. The beach is at the bottom of some dramatic cliffs. It has a long strip of clean sand. The only problem is that when the tide's in there's not that much sand left, and as the beach gets busy this can leave things a bit crowded. There's a great restaurant on the beach too.

“Surfers paradise”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

The beach is situated at the bottom of a long hill - not easy to negotiate, so only for the fit. Taking a car down is possible but not easy as it is tight and there is no where to park. Once there it is a pretty little beach. Great for learning to surf. There is a great restaurant over looking the beach. Not exactly cheap but well worth the visit. Can get packed in the summer.
