First the good:
Lunch was good and not very expensive.
Dinner and breakfast were quite good, not super fancy but lots of fresh fish decently presented. Breakfast was very large and a bit too salty for our taste.
Room was quite large and clean, a little down at the heels in maintenance.
The room 203 had an excellent view of a small cove, a cherry tree blocked the view to Kamakura.
The large common bath Ofuro, was clean, large and the rotenboro has a nice view of the cove
Note it is a salt water bath so you need to rinse thoroughly afterwards.
The not so good:
Futons were thin and hard
Only rooms on the bay/cove side have a view, other side is a view of parking lot.
Rather remote, if you are driving get a good map at the Miurasaki Guchi Train Station,
If going by bus, the stop is about 3 blocks from the hotel, but pretty flat.
Not much to do, we went "hiking" on course B which is not bad
It is a long way, about 3 KM to the port of Miurasaki and the fish market there, too far to walk and the bus service is limited.
Overall, a moderately priced, and adequate accomodation, nothing special, but that was not our reason for going.
