This hotel is a very well appointed european style hotel with a English speaking staff. It is close to the train station and shopping. About 40 min. buy train to Tokyo center. Parking is available and they have a nice restaurant that serves both Japanese and American breakfast.

The hotel is well maintained, rooms large for Japan standard, food is very good, but the best part of the stay was the attention. The hotel´s staff and manager were some of the nicest hotel employees I have ever met. Very quiet rooms and great location, two blocks away from the train station and the bus stop (we found that the best way to get from Narita/Tokyo airport to Kashiwa was the bus) is right in front of the hotel.

I had business in Kashiwa recently, and the company I visted set me up at the Crest Hotel. There is a direct bus from Narita Airport that drops you rigtht at the front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Check-In was very pleasant, the stay being quite friendly and couteous. My room was very clean and comfortable, although a bit on the small side, which is not so unusual in Japan. The wired internet worked well, allowing me to get some work done.

I arrived a little late, so opted to dine in the hotel restaurant rather than go out searching. The foor and service were both outstanding -- very enjoyable. After dinner, I went for a stroll around the area. As mentioned in other reviews, there are many other places to eat close to the hotel, so may try those on the next visit. The train station is just a few minutes stroll from the hotel, and there is a 7-11 a few minutes away walk in the other direction should you need to pick something up.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back if I'm ever in Kashiwa again.

The hotel is a short walk from Kashiwa Station. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. Air conditioning is also good. Wired internet in the room. There are so many good restaurants in the area, I wouldn't bother eating at the hotel. Staff is courteous. I will definitely stay here again!

We had to stay at Kashiwa since it is hte nearest place with hotels to the factory we were visiting for a week. Breakfast included but absolutely stunningly BORING, the exact same choice ever every every day. Why not a variation, because they don't do that in Japan. The breakfast served is miniscule, microscopic, not enough to feed a sparrow. We ended up avoiding the breakfast with sloppy service but lots of bowing and hissing, and eat near the railway station, which is only about 200m away. Bedrooms so so, and nothing spectacular. If you are used to quality service and value for money don’t expect the same levels in Japan: appallingly expensive, dirty suburbs with unkempt sidewalks (a strange contrast to S Korea where we had just come from), and expensive food. Train are good and we used the JR extensively to get into Tokyo ech night for a bit of relief from this dreary hotel and its neighbourhood.
