The hotel itself is ok as was the member of staff we encountered. But cobwebs around the ceiling was the first thing we noticed then we were disappointed at being charged for wifi (every public place, bar and restaurant offers free wifi!) - £5 for an hour????
On entering the bathroom I thought I had stood on a tack in the carpet - it turns out the carpet grip was exposed through the carpet and each of us in turn ending up hurting the soles of our feet during our stay.

It is regrettable to learn of your disappointment Carmel M. As well as our rooms we would expect our public areas to be cleaned to a great standard so we are concerned to learn about the issues you have raised regarding the cleanliness. We would like to provide a great service for our guests and we can confirm that we will take your comments on board regarding the Wifi charges. We will be sure to pass your comments onto the hotel management team so that they can be reminded of the importance of ensuring all rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean and fresh.

We visited Manchester Trafford Centre and decided to stay over and booked this hotel. Its a clean hotel and the room was fine. The bed was very comfy and the bedding was very clean. Its about a ten minute walk to the Trafford Centre. Theres a Wetherspoons across the road from the hotel which is good. We got a good rate for our Friday night stay which is why i booked this hotel instead of the Premier Inn which is closer to the Trafford Centre

avoid all rooms by reception as the constant slamming of the fire door will keep you awake all night. the tea machine in reception didn't work, neither did the snack machine. the hotel itself was ok but you will need a car for the Trafford centre. its quiet close to the chill factor. ( so is the premier inn )

We are sorry to learn of your recent dissatisfaction David B. We do require all of our doors to be quiet and fully functional so we will be sure to pass your feedback onto the hotel. We would also expect our facilities at reception such as the vending machine and coffee/tea machine to be in good working order so we are truly sorry to learn this was not the case, sometimes problems may occur however we would have expected them to be fixed as soon as possible to reduce the impact on our guests. We will be sure to pass on your feedback to the hotel management team so that they are able to make improvements and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We stayed here as a family of 4 in October 2013 for 2 nights as we were visiting Legoland, the Sealife Centre and The Trafford Centre. It was a great base for visiting these places and we found the hotel to be well suited to our needs.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the value for money was good.

The only downside was the lack of blackout curtains in the bedroom.

The man on reception was polite, helpful and friendly when we arrived and got checked in and when we requested an extra cup for the room it was brought up quickly.

The hotel is within walking distance of an indoor ski slope, there is also a Nandos and Weatherspoons in this complex which was handy for meals.

Nice area close to the trafford, rooms are clean and tidy and well maintained.
All areas sound and handy for walks across the road.
On the spot booking without reservation and prices are affordable, staff tidy and mannered.

A good clean and quiet hotel with very comfortable king size bed and just a short walk from Trafford Centre. There was ample car parking? Would go there again and would recommend to anyone. Has 24 hour reception and price is very competitive.
