Really enjoyed last night, the room I stayed in was simple but all I needed.
Very clean and fresh.
The friendliness of staff is what makes this place you are made to feel at home
The well stocked bar is a great place to meet the locals and to enjoy the Doric banter.
This place is made famous for its food, and we were far from dissapointed. My colleague had
the home made Steak Pie and I had the Beef Olives served with fresh vedgetables. It was
Really good. The selection of Malt Whisky is impressive. The draft 80 shilling is one of the best pints of beer I have had outside Edinburgh.. Fantastic value for money, main meal £8.75 Don't make the mistake of judging this hotel by its cheap price. . Speak to the locals they will tell you tell you. I know I will be back.

Spent an evening in July and left elated by the experience. Fantastic welcome and attentive service ,throughout. Food simple and honest. Large breakfast great value. Conversations with locals in the bar was great (in the local Doric dialect - which I am comfortable with). Peaceful spot in the country with local walks (and distillery) available. Best experience of our two weeks in Scotland.

This is a small country hotel not so far from my own front door . We often eat here. Good home cooking fresh vegtables . You will find the staff very warm and friendly. Fair warning though if you want a meal at the weekend you best phone in advance and book your table ,as can be very busy .. i say come along and tast traditional scottish food at its best ...

We stayed at the Bognie Arms for 1 night in June and had a lovely stay. We also ate twice in the pub and had great food - fabulous puddings. Kathleen and her husband are so friendly and welcoming. Kathleen was also very helpful in ensuring I got back some property I happened to leave behing. Would recommend and would definitely go back.

we arrived for two nights and were greeted by Kathleen who made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble for her. our room was very big and the bed soo comfy. the food was excellent and such a nice bar where we met a lot of people locals and holiday makers. Because my partner had to work early they even arranged for us to have a late breakfast!,if we are ever in that part of the country again this would be our 1st choice to stay, thankyou to kathleen and the staff.

We stayed for one night to go to a wedding in Huntly. The service was incredible, the breakfast was tasty, the owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the room was great value for money. What more can you say, all in all an excellent stay!
