After our first time here last year, we really wanted to come back to this marvellous hotel, where we really feel happy and relax. Staff is always superb, they are always helpful in everything you need. The Hotel is amazing, the swimming pool is just stunning! Mr Paolo is just a wonderful person that made us feel at home, his heart is bigger than the universe and also thanks for Sebastiano, his service is impeccable. Thank you so much for making our stay a dream!

This was a nice surprise on the Sicilian coast. The staff were wonderful and super helpful by suggesting a beach and even gave us umbrellas. Noto is super close and a really cute town, and there are 2-3 great restaurants which are a 20-25 minute walk. Plus, the breakfast and the pool are great.

After the disappointment of finding our Hotel in Syracuse "un-stayable" we desperately tried to find alternatives in the town, but eventually gave up and ventured along the coast, southwards to Avola. The Hotel we found was the Grand Hotel Pacla, just on the outskirts. The Hotel was clean and tidy, although we did miss the AC. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner so we ventured back into the city. Although a small town, somehow it was absolutely full of parked cars and through traffic. We parked up on the opposite outskirt to our hotel and walked into the centre area where there were 2 squares. There were a few bars/cafes with something like 50-100 local (men) not drinking or eating just chatting. We tried desperately to find a proper restaurant but alas could only find 1 very tiny cafe serving what was classed as hot meals. i.e. slices or Pizza or a strange conical shaped deep fried, rice filled item, which tasted awful.Needless to say we went to bed rather hungry. This made breakfast at the Hotel rather splendid, thanks........

Room tip: Check with the concierge where you can eat, don't go to the centre go to the beach area.

Me and my friends booked this hotel the day before arriving to Avola. We expected a nice and relaxed stay and indeed that is what we got. Staff at Grand Hotel Pacla are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable and most importantly safe time in Avola. Sebastiano was a pleasure to meet, whether it be helping us get around from place to place, or booking activites such as boat rides and beach trips. We highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to feel welcomed and stress-free when away on Holiday!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The saff is excellent, very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is great. The hotel is out off town so you need your own transport to get there. It is an ideallic place if you want to relax and still want to explore southeastern Sicily.
