Description: Trawlers is situated in Gordon's Bay. We are on Beach Road and have a beautiful view of the ocean. We have seating for 70 people, but feel free to take your meal to the beach where you can feed any left overs to the seagulls. We do not have a liquor license but you are more than welcome to bring your own wine. On windy days,we can close our blinds and Trawlers becomes wind free and cozy. In winter we have gas heaters that will keep you warm.We have debit and credit card facilities

“Average fried seafood and chips”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

In a terrific setting and served by friendly staff, very average fried fish platter. Accompanying chips were really poor. Calamari soggy, which comes from not being cooked right; cooked mussels average and far from the best fish. The fried prawns were good - only part of the platter for two that was worth eating.

Situated close to the beach it's a great place to check out the talent on a hot summer day. Very reasonably priced, fast service and lots of food for the very hungry.

“Great take-away spot by the beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2012

Some days we simply have a craving for good old fashioned greasy fish and chips covered in salt and vinegar. At Trawlers, you get to have it plus you can go and sit on the beach across the road, eat till you can't any more and then feed the birds the rest of the fish. If you're looking for something remotely healthy this is not the place for you. Since the place is almost always packed, the tables and floor underneath tends to get a bit unsavoury, so we prefer to head across the road to the beach with our food. Also, the kids love to run around on the beach and come back for a bite every now and then. Don't go to Gordon's Bay without stopping here for a bite.
