“A nice little castle in a little village”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

This is a great little castle in a picturesque village in Wales. A nice surrounding to spend an hour. When we went, we had the whole castle to ourselves which was great! It a little difficult to find though when in the village signage isn't that great.

A small, but wonderfully place castle. The surrounding countryside is fantastic. There is also a superb little Tea room on the main street, which shoiuld not be missed.

“A Hidden Castle”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

You have to be paying attention to spot the path up to Grosmont Castle. If you come "up" the hill you'll need eyes in the back of your head - we only saw the sign when we'd turned around and were about to go and ask in the post office. There is no car park but there is space along the road in the village. It is a very pretty little place which is free to access. It takes less than half an hour to walk around and if you are interested in that period of history - worth a visit.
